Skylar Gives is Skylar's community impact initiative, created to invest in the next generation of leaders.
Designed for emerging leaders ages 18 to 35, Skylar Gives develops programs, experiences, and resources that help young professionals, entrepreneurs, and changemakers grow with confidence, character, and purpose.
While many leadership programs focus on technical skills, Skylar Gives focuses on the qualities that shape lasting success: leadership, communication, decision-making, resilience, professionalism, entrepreneurship, and personal growth.
Our mission is simple:
Equip people with the tools, relationships, and experiences they need to lead beyond what they ever imagined possible.
Why Skylar Gives?
At first glance, it may seem unusual that a security company would launch a leadership initiative.
To us, it makes perfect sense.
Skylar was founded on the belief that protecting people goes beyond physical safety. Throughout her career in law enforcement and while building Skylar, founder Jamine Moton recognized a much deeper need.
She met talented young people with incredible potential who had never been shown what leadership truly looks like. Many entered the workforce or started businesses without mentors, practical guidance, or access to the conversations that shape successful careers.
They weren't lacking ambition.
They were lacking access.
Access to experienced leaders.
Access to honest conversations.
Access to communities that believed in their potential.
Skylar Gives was created to close that gap.
We believe leadership can be taught.
Confidence can be developed.
Character can be strengthened.
And, one meaningful conversation can change the trajectory of a life.
GATHERING ATLANTA
Gathering Atlanta is Skylar Gives' signature leadership event.
More than an event, it is a curated community where entrepreneurs, executives, nonprofit leaders, creatives, and emerging professionals come together for honest conversations about leadership, business, resilience, and personal growth.
This is not a networking event.
This is not another conference.
It is a room intentionally designed for meaningful dialogue, practical wisdom, and authentic relationships.
